Cultivating my own energy
Updated: May 6, 2021
One of the things that I always hear is…
Hey! I like your energy!… I feel good around you!!

This makes me think of the actual definition of energy, what is the real meaning of it? Scientists say that it is “the ability or capacity to do the work”… what they call “work”, is the action to move something against the force. And you know what, this is actually easily applicable to our day to day lives, and I LOVE IT!
As a matter of fact, we do not create or destroy energy, we absorb, transform and radiate it. What I mean, the energy is already cultivated in our cells. It is the gift we all have and which keeps us all alive. It doesn't end there, the energy that our own bodies produce can be spread and shared with the outside world around us. Samewise we can absorb the energy of others. The energy we produce can be categorised into two. Our natural inner energy, pushing us to grow, physically and mentally; and the dusty energy, usually the reflection of the outside influences and our inability to confront them.
When people mention the positive energy I radiate, I feel like I give them the metaphorical pill of superb vibes, with no intentions behind.
...However, my past used to be completely different. I never used to feel like that before, neither be capable of sharing my inner peace. I had to be present and committed to myself to learn how to listen, how to bounce off the dusty energy to make more space for my own inner energy.
Cultivating your own energy it is like GARDENING…
You plant a seed and the way you take care of that seed influence the growth of the plant and its flourishing. Consequently, there is way more in our own hands than we would think of. We do tend to blame and celebrate the surroundings and different events for the prosperity of our inner plant or its poor look. Although, most of it depends on how we react and how well we are able to just stop and observe what is happening and what are the actual reasons of our current position, what are the possible pathways for us to move further, and where it can lead. It is all in our hands when we decide what 'plant' we want to be.

The metaphorical gardening I applied also on my own journey of self-listening, self-control, taking responsibility for my actions and reactions. Because all I wanted was finally to see my LITTLE PLANT growing and letting its first bloom.
Maybe it is nothing new to you. But I want to ask and think about how many random thoughts we have through the day, THOUSANDS right? Do you think all of them came from your own nature or were the reason of something external?
You often might confuse external energy as your own. To grow a healthy inner plant and cultivate the energy you want to live with, firstly you have to learn how to become responsible for your own actions, reactions and contradictions. Sometimes we might say 'but it wasn't in our hands' or 'it was their fault'. And it is true that sometimes things are not in our control, however, the way we react to the situation 100% depends on us. To do that, you have to give yourself time, just a few seconds. Take a deep breath in and then exhale. If you need, sit down or just stand still for a second. By doing so, you slow down and let yourself to be more present. It helps to look at the situation with more clean mind by reducing the amount of the outside dusty energy. This short gap creates some free space to reflect on your life and what really matters to you, rather than what it is said to you. Eventually, this helps you to get to know your own body better and how it is dealing in specific situations; how to share your energy and how to filter the dusts in your life.
The benefit of cultivating your own clean energy resides in a lighter emotional suitcase. It is important to know how to accept yourself and focus on identifying your feelings, passions even things you don't like.
Another thing I started doing myself is asking 'HOW DO I ACTUALLY FEEL after the long day is about to finish?' I question this at least a couple of times during the week. At the beginning it takes time, it might be even a bit intimidating. Later it becomes like a habit, it won't take more than just a couple of minutes. By this, I learnt that the inner communication and opening to yourself are crucial in accepting your presence and wanting changes in your future.
By questioning how I feel I started better noticing how my mind works, how tense or relaxed my muscles are and how it is relevant and important in my life.
The journey of the self-discovery is intimidating, eye-opening and at the same time beautiful and enriching.
From my own experience, if you are honest with yourself, questioning aids identifying the roots of our discomforts. Once you know the cause of the discomfort, you can start transforming your energy into self-development.
Remember that ENERGY is the ability to move against the force. So it means that our capabilities are limitless modifying and transforming our pathways! It is important to use the strength we have already deep inside us, OUR OWN POWER. We are all badass and marvellous in our own unique way. Awareness, proactivity and self-education helped me and can help you to live better, listen to your guts making better choices and enjoying our time on this earth.
Keep smiling, dancing, growing and remember….
“You are a complete person in an EXPANSION MOOD!”
